Recently divorced and reeling, Edgar returns to his childhood home to regroup his life. When Edgar finds a nefarious looking puppet in his deceased brother’s room, he decides to sell the doll for some quick cash. If that doesn’t seem enough, did you know that this is a REBOOT to the classic? As much as I can’t stand remakes, reboots. This has my attention, but does the film have to be “the bloodiest film ever made” possibly be the downfall of it? Rather than a good story, the film could relay on the “action-packed” gore? I guess I’ll have to wait and judge the movie when it comes to Theaters and VOD, August 17th.
