Here’s the official trailer for The Haunting of Hill House:
Paul and I were intrigued by the trailer the atmosphere alone drew us in for this series. I recognized actors I’ve seen in other films throughout the years. We’ve both see a movie called The Haunting which was a movie done back in 1999 with a Hill House setting as well. Some of the characters names were used but the characters were in no way related to eachother in that film like the series. I did notice some of the lines I liked from the film showed up in the series said by Mrs Dudley one of the caretakers of Hill House. I’ll post the link below of where I first heard it. I tried to find a clip to show it was said in the series as well but was unable to find one to post.
The music was also beautiful in a haunting way like it stayed with you. We both loved the musical score for the series. I’ll post links to where you can find the music for the series. Along with a sample track of the soundtrack, so you can hear why I say haunting in a beautiful way.
All in all we enjoyed this series, I would highly recommend it. The effects were good, hardly any CGI, the atmosphere was spot on and great music to accompany it. I have no complaints for this series, I give it two thumbs up for sure. I was engrossed from start to finish. Well done. I hope you enjoyed the read.
