Uncle Sam Review

Uncle Sam is a slasher/horror film directed by William Lustig and was released in The US in 1996. The story is based around a soldier killed over seas and comes back to life to take revenge on people who disrespects the United States at a 4th of July block party in his home town.

For all those horror fans out there that haven’t seen this movie here’s a link to watch a short trailer to peak your interest.

I loved the setting in this film it defiantly gives off that creepy, eerie vibe. I also, in my opinion, believe it’s very creative. We have films based around Halloween and Christmas but whoever thought about creating a horror movie based around 4th of July.

The parts that didn’t make that much sense and was kind of confusing was how the soldier came back to life. The film doesn’t really explain that much on how he came back to life.

If anyone is looking for something different to watch that’s satisfying and entertaining I really recommend this film.
