Written by Kenric Regan

Nancy Eynes: A monster hunter.

Krampus: A mythological character that feeds off of bad children .

Santa: The Jolly Old Elf, himself.

Synopsis: : It’s Christmas Eve. Do you know where your children are? Krampus does. And Nancy is here to save them.

My review for the sample which is available for anyone plus one more sample that shows more of what to expect from The Eynes Anthology, coming to Kickstarter on February 1st. However, this is just one taste of 10 stories from 22 creators that came together from all over the world. So there’s a different type of art style for anyone and everyone.

This sample, is one story entitled Nancy Eynes: Krampus Killer. Within this short sample, we see a colored cover which leads us right into a black and white colors that shows us two children, whether they were naughty or nice doesn’t quite say nor does the Krampus care. From there we see the other kids run, while then we see Nancy Eynes. Standing on the rooftops looking through the scope of a rifle, ready to take out Krampus. However, Nancy needs permission to open fire from Kingle, yes, Santa.

Santa is totally against the idea of Nancy taking out Krampus, even when Krampus has already bagged two kids. Nancy, desperately asking Kringle for the okay explains. “Good or Bad Kids deserve time to change, and I don’t care if Krampus only kills the bad ones. He’s fucked if I can help it.”

Santa however, disapproves of Nancy’s actions and language that Nancy may end up on Kringle’s naughty list. Then orders Nancy to get down from the rooftop to secure the area and rescue those kids. I guess the kids are out pass curfew, and I’m assuming that is the reason Krampus is after them. Disobeying there curfew and going to bed early, but I guess we will have to wait and see when it fully comes out.
