Lementum is an upcoming pixel themed Indie survival horror game by Obscure Games coming to PC, PS4, Switch & Xbox One in 2020, which was fully funded yesterday on the Kickstarter crowd funding platform after a stressful and thrilling 6 hours period, in which, through aggressive marketing and support of fans from all over the social media, Lamentum could get the remaining 1000 Euros required for their target of almost 16,000 Euros (Now showing €15,060 ). Because of our own IndieGoGo campaign ending on September 25th 2019 for our Indie Horror film, The Passenger: A Vermont Urban Legend, we know how hard it is to run a crowd funding campaign and succeed in getting enough backers to make the idea into reality.
We, Everything Horror Podcast, were among those who knew the potential from the time when it wasn’t even on Kickstarter and then, when it was on the Kickstarter, we made an article here along with the free demo’s gameplay by Paul & Tessa. We are happy to see that a unique game like Lamentum is no longer just an idea. So, we congratulate and wish all the best to the team of Obscure Tales for the launch of the game and leave you with the link of our demo gameplay, demo’s download link and link of Steam Game Store Page where you can wish list Lamentum game.

In Lamentum you will guide Victor, a young aristocrat, who will embark on a desperate journey to find a cure for a rare disease.
Our last hope resides in a dark mansion governed by an earl capable of granting any wish, but… At what price?
The Grau Hill mansion will open its doors and immerse us in a world of nightmares where we can be trapped forever.
Lamentum is a pixel art survival-horror game set in New England in the mid-nineteenth century. To solve the dark secret that is hidden in the depths of the mansion of Grau Hill, you will have to immerse yourself in a nightmare world full of terrible creatures.
Choose well in whom to trust, every decision you make may alter the course of the story.
Will you survive?
Our references are videogames like Resident Evil and Silent Hill, but we are also inspired by the Cthulhu mythos adapting them to our own vision.
We want to make Lamentum a dark and adult-themed game, in which the player can enjoy a classic survival-horror game.
Main Features of the Game:
- Detailed pixel art combined with actual light and shadow technology.
- An adventure with different endings depending on the decisions we make.
- Large number of characters with different motivations.
- Multiple enemies and terrifying bosses.
- Fight or hide. Choose the best way to survive.
- A labyrinthine mansion to explore along with unique outdoor areas.
- Large amount of weapons and objects.
- A nightmare plot, dark and twisted, aimed at an adult audience.
- Variable climatology
Lamentum is scheduled to be released in Q1 2020 on PC and later on Nintendo Switch (Q2 2020), PS4 and XBOX One (Q4 2020).
