Dr Marian Watson is a passionate archaeologist, but she dislikes Nefret. According to her, it is not a relic, it’s a tomb. A half-buried shrine of a massacre that occurred four decades ago. On board, she senses a horror, madness and rage which will never die. And she is right.
Six months later, three random suicides catch Dr Sterling’s eye. All he wants to do is follow his instincts, but before he can find any evidence, he is interrupted.
A well-known industrialist and a horror novel writer claims he saw a werewolf. Dr Emma Meyers believes her patient is having a panic attack, but when he dies under unusual circumstances, her fears are just beginning to unravel.
A scientist working at a local pharmaceutical company pays a high price for his curiosity and seeks for help from Roumoult Cranston, a well-known lawyer. What begins as a routine investigation soon opens a series of unbelievable and bizarre incidences!
Are these incidences related? NYPD detectives Tom Nash and Joan Chase are trying to find the real killer and sightings of strange mythical creatures are the least of their worries. But the case turns tricky when happy-go-lucky New Yorkers turn into mad men. Is it a plague or a curse? Or a killer with the power to control the human mind?
Here is the sneak peak into the book
Haunted chapter 1: The secrets she keeps.
Please note it might look a bit different in the final version. 🙂
Some of my friends and beta readers have read the entire book and here is what they have to say…
I’ve spent the last four years researching, making the plot better and improving my craft. However, a lot of work needs to be done. Haunted requires extensive professional editing, development of book cover and book art.
I have begun my efforts. Have a look at the art cover for the book… Just a few ideas. I have also included one in the video.
I have prepared a short project outline for you guys. I have already started the process to give me ample time to deliver this book to you in Nov 2019.
What I did not share with a lot of people was that I loved to write books. I would dream up little plots in my head and then secretly write them at night when everyone was asleep. I self-published my first book in 2003 but at that time I just did it for fun, I was not ready to be a fully fledged writer.
In 2014-2017 I lost both my parents. It nearly killed me and my regret was I never told them, especially my father. He always supported me, and encouraged me to keep going. He was the best thing that happened to me! So even though my father is gone, I decided to finish and write this book and dedicate it to him. Haunted is for dad!
Book publishing involves a lot of work and is time consuming. When you preorder (pledge) or donate for the book the money will be funnelled into hiring an editor and graphic designer for developing and publishing my book. The figure below shows how the money will distributed.
We can make it happen!
No one makes it alone. Everyone needs help.
