Spoiler-Free Review:
With only less than 3 minutes, the horror short film, Trick or Treat 2019 by Stefan Stojanovic directly starts at the terror scene as we see the leading lady being tied to a chair and trying to escape. The main theme is escape from a killer through the woods which delivers a lot of thrilling chases.
The acting is great. The leading lady Teodora Sadzak does look frightened and the abductor Vesko Begljer looks pretty natural and realistic. Direction, music, sound effects and editing has made this horror short exciting and artistic. The shots and angles are not boring and remind you of Hollywood thrillers. Not everyone will like the ending but the horror short in general, is thrilling and enjoyable. It’s free to watch on YouTube, so you should check it out to see great performances, thrilling chases and film making skills.
