Stranger Things 2 Actor Joe Davison Shares His Love For Horror & His Part in “Zombies We’re Human Too Volume 2” Horror Comic!

In this article, we share the thoughts of Stranger Things 2 Actor Joe Davison, who has also written a story for “Zombies We’re Human Too Volume 2”, a Horror Comic that’s currently on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform till July 1 2020 7:59 AM UTC +04:00, about Zombie stories BEFORE an HOW they became Zombies.

Sharing his love for horror, he says, “I am a Horror NUT! Always have been since I can remember. Horror Comics, and especially Horror films! I would read Tales of Suspense and Horror, Werewolf by Midnight, Tales from the Crypt and Weird Horror Tales! Friday the 13th, The Think, Evil Dead 1 & 2, Peter Jackson’s Dead Alive and Rawhead Rex. I could sit for hours watching them. It’s what gave me the bug to be an actor, writer, director and producer!!!”

He then starts telling us about the start of his acting career, “I started acting around 1995 in a weird sketch comedy troupe called the Sidewalk Cracks. It was a weekly sketch comedy show that aired every Monday night at 10 PM on TCI Cable Channel 5 in New Port Richey. That lead me to improv (Improvisional Theatre), which lead me to start Improv specific troupes like Beat the Dead Horse, The Charming Hooligans, and The Caffeine Kids. We did Horror based improve skits and scenes,  helping me hone my acting skills. All the while, I auditioned my butt off every week for years and EVENTUALLLY landed Stranger Things Season 2.”

He also tells us about his film experience, and continues- “I had been in films before. short films, feature films and commercials but nothing compared to Stranger Things. As an actor, working on the set of Stranger Things was not only surreal but an eye opening experience in ways for directing as well. The feeling being on set for one second compared to one day or one week is the same. Exhilarating. Stepping up to the plate as an actor on a show like that changes your view on everything. I wouldn’t change that experience for anything!”

Finally, we get to know how he got involved with the Volume 2 of “Zombies We’re Human Too” Horror Comic, as he concludes– “The same can be said for me as to when Austin suggested I write for a comic book series that he was putting together; Zombies We’re Human Too. Volume 1 of the series came out last year after it was successfully crowd funded and he wanted me to write a story for Volume 2.”

So, after experiencing his unforgettable performance as an actor, now we get a chance to experience a zombie horror story from his mind in the Volume 2 of Zombies We’re Human Too, which is on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform till July 1 2020 7:59 AM UTC +04:00!
