Nicholas Michael Jacobs from NMJ Films has written, edited, directed, produced, and acted in this Halloween fan film called- “The Shape Kills”, which released on YouTube today (Oct 10th, 2020) and is a great three and a half minutes long horror short film made with all the health precautions taken. Executive Producers are- Alexis Beacher, and Danielle Iannucci.

Synopsis:

The Shape Returns To Haddonfield In This Terrifying Short Fan Film! (Also based on some characters created by David Gordon Green, Danny McBride, and Jeff Fradley)

My Thoughts / Short Review:

Halloween by John Carpenter and Debra Hill, is a cult classic series, which also seems to have some official revival efforts now, so seeing a fan film about it made me skeptical but still I watched it and I was blown away by the professional approach of this fan film.

At just 3:29 minutes, this fan film is at the perfect length as it’s straight to the point, with no silly chases, or other time wasters. The horror short starts with suspense, and ends with a scary scene, followed by a cool scarily funny Halloween greeting. Nicholas Michael Jacobs has exceled in his acting, direction, and music composition. True to the source material, full of suspense, and scary action, this fan film is one of the well made Halloween fan films in the recent times, and that too despite the current outbreak restrictions.

Since it’s a free to watch, you have nothing to lose. Please check out the horror fan film below, and enjoy this early Halloween treat from NMJ FIlms!
