Goosebumps Slappyworld: Monster Blood Is Back #13 [Book Review]

Sascha Nelson and her best friend Nicole Miller love to cook! After school, they spend their time concocting new dishes in the kitchen. So when their favorite TV show Kids Big Chef Food Fights comes to their school for a special competition, they’re ecstatic! But with school cheaters Ashli and Diggs also in the show, things don’t seem as fun anymore. When Sascha and Nicole buy a mysterious can called Monster Blood is Back, they use it to get back at Ashli and Diggs. But as the Monster Blood grows and grows, can the two get the slime under control or will it swallow up the competition?

Goosebumps’ most infamous villain presents another thrilling story in the Goosebumps SlappyWorld arc.

THE REVIEW

A cook-off contest for young children? Wow, that’s what I call a great way for children to have fun and be creative. That’s if they really like to cook, bake. And the winner gets a silver spatula worth two thousand dollars!

It seems we are on a roll when it comes to bullies, now it’s more like bullies that will cheat to win at anything. And if that’s not annoying try finding a birthday gift for your younger brother. Especially from a shop you swear was on a particular corner, but is no longer there.

Once the monster blood comes into the ingredients of a role switch between the two ladies and “the cheaters”. People start to grow more suspiciously. Yet when reality comes back, it’s one of those stories where you’re gonna love it or hate it.

Monster Blood is back, no pun intended. One of R.L. Stines popular slime balls makes a very interesting return, however the deliverance might be upsetting for some. While cool concept, I just feel like these type of “dream states” shouldn’t be allowed.
