ACM Official’s Smiling Woman 6 is the 6th horror short film in a series that started off as a trending standalone YouTube short film with over 5 million views featuring Merlynda Sol as the original Smiling Woman. It has become a successful horror short movie series. According to ACM Official’s comment on YouTube, the order of the movies is- 1,2,3,6,4,5. The best thing about this series is that every horror short can be watched without watching others but small details and connections is what makes watching the series in a chronological order so satisfying!

Smiling Woman 6 starts in a laundromat with the protagonist lady doing her boring laundry and we get to see the familiar yellow dress which gets stolen and worn by an unknown lady. This surprises the protagonist and before she could have a civil conversation with her, the unknown lady starts smiling at her in a weird and scary way. Sensing danger, the protagonist tries to escape the laundromat but every turn she takes, she finds the smiling woman teleported. The suspense and horror keeps getting stronger which is combined with claustrophobia of the laundromat to deliver among the best horror short films you will ever watch! What makes it scarier is that the protagonist has asthma so she has to deal with both problems at the same time!

This horror short is well directed, awesomely written and the production quality is also among the best. Acting is great and helps to make the audience feel bad for the protagonist and be scared of the antagonist Smiling Woman spirit. Music, makeup, and special effects play a vital role in setting up a mood of psychological horror.
